Human history is replete with demeaning perspectives toward women that have disregarded their dignity and portrayed them as weak, incapable, or at the very least, pitiful beings. In the contemporary modern world, the issue of gender justice and the elimination of discrimination against women has become a challenging concern for societies. In Islamic countries, the interpretations and views of Muslim thinkers play a vital role in redefining the role and status of women, as the mindset of women and the performance of Islamic governments and statesmen depend on the readings and perceptions provided by Muslim scholars. This paper examines the speech, writings, and practical conduct (Sirah) of Imam Khomeini (RA) regarding the true status of women. He is among the thinkers who have provided significant theoretical and practical breakthroughs in this field. The central question of the present research is how gender political justice is interpreted within the framework of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) thought and action. The research method is qualitative content analysis, formulated using a questioning framework based on a combination of relevant theoretical discussions. Preliminary findings indicate that Imam Khomeini (RA) views the roles and responsibilities of women in the public-political sphere through an approach aligned with educational-cultural justice and governance efficiency, emphasizing the alignment between religious values and socio-human requirements. This article seeks to provide a concise explanation of the concept of gender political justice from his perspective by precisely explicating criteria and cited sources, while reinterpreting its policy-social implications
