Economic resilience has been one of the principal priorities emphasized by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in recent years, particularly in the context of the country’s strategic annual mottos responding to the enemy’s economic warfare. In line with this approach, his 2023 strategic motto, “Curbing Inflation and Boosting Production”, was introduced as part of the overarching strategy of a “Resilient Economy,” with the aim of driving comprehensive economic transformation. This article seeks to present a theoretical model of economic transformation based on the Supreme Leader’s perspective on strengthening economic resilience. The central research question asks: What theoretical model of economic transformation can be derived from the Supreme Leader’s Nowruz address regarding economic resilience? Using the grounded theory methodology, this study identifies 25 core themes from his statements, which are organized into a conceptual model outlining causal factors, contextual and inhibiting variables, and outcomes that contribute to economic transformation. The findings indicate that, from Ayatollah Khamenei’s perspective, measures such as delegating economic management to the people, prioritizing non-oil exports, increasing production with public participation, conducting trade in local currencies, and expanding foreign trade are among the most crucial strategies to curb inflation, boost production, and ultimately transform and strengthen the national economy.
