Economic governance is one of the most important pillars of governance at the national level. Western countries have been criticized by some Western and Eastern elites for adopting economic governance based on the capitalist system. Extreme individualism, consumerism and economic growth at the cost of losing human values and destruction of spirituality are among the consequences of Western economic governance. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has pointed out some characteristics of economic governance while criticizing the Western governance. In the current research, the author seeks to examine the view of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in relation to the concept and discussion of economic governance. The question of the present research is, what is the view of the leader of the Islamic Revolution in relation to economic governance during the period of sanctions, and what analytical components does it consist of? In response to the above question, the writer puts forward the following hypothesis that according to the statements of His Holiness, in the view of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, economic governance in the period of sanctions is based on a resistance economy and consists of components such as wealth production, popular participation and livelihood support. The research method in this article is descriptive-explanatory and the method of collecting documentary materials.
